Twisted hate

This month I read Twisted hate by Ana Huang.

Jules Ambrose is a twenty-four year old who is also beautiful redhead who is taking her law career very seriously. She tries to stay focused on passing the attorney’s bar exam. She does a fine job staying focus until she realizes she is catching feelings for her best friends’ brother, Josh Chen. Josh Chen is a twenty nine doctor who tries focusing on his job but can’t help to notice he’s catching feelings for Jules. They both realize they like each other and set a friends with benefits agreement. They set simple rules but end up having trouble following them.

I liked the book twisted hate because it was a great book with an amazing plot twist. It was an enemies to lovers book and her best friends’ brother. They both have similar personalities and share the same interests. They’re both heart throbs and are both really concentrated on their job. They’re also really funny and have no filter. They say whatever they want whenever they want and it’s fun reading not knowing the next funny thing they’re going to say next.

My favorite character has to be Jules Ambrose. She so pretty and has no filter. It’s funny reading the comments that she makes about everything and always has an opinion. She knows her ego and never forgets it. She’s incredibly smart and an amazing lawyer. She doesn’t let anybody get in her way even when a certain someone makes it difficult. She’s independent and doesn’t like getting help so she solves all her problems on her own. A quote to prove this is on page “I broke his nose.” A guy at the club was bothering her friends and her so she took matters into her own hands and defended them on her own.

My favorite quote is “You’re one of the few people I trust. Never thought I’d say that, considering our history. But even when we couldn’t stand each other, I could always count on you to be honest with me.” That proved that considering their past Josh trusted Jules and went from hating her to loving her.

Real Estate Agent

If I could have any job in the entire world, it would be a real estate agent. At first it might seem like a boring job but if you listen to my reasonings you might change your mind. The first reason would be because I would be able to buy old houses and remodel them. I can make them look really fancy and good as new. I can make the houses look amazing and still charge a decent price. My second reason is because I can buy a house for my parents once they retire and they will live right next door to me. I can remodel the house and make it my parent’s dream house. Also, it will be helpful to have my parents live right next door to me so being a real estate agent can be handy. And lastly my third reason is because I would have a flexible schedule. I can choose my own schedule and once I’m older I will be able to still have freedom.

Twisted games by Ana Huang

This month I read twisted games by Ana Huang.

A twenty-two year old college student named Bridget Von Ascheberg is also the princess of Eldorra. Despite her awful past with her parents dying when she was young she still sees the good in the world. Unlike Rhys Larsen who is thirty-two and an ex-navy seal. Rhys also had a rough childhood with his abusive mom. Bridget’s old bodyguard booth has to take a break from his job so Rhys steps in to be Bridget’s new bodyguard. Rhys only has two rules with his clients, number one: protect his client at all costs. Number two: do not become emotionally involve. Ever. For many years he has never had a problem following his own rules, but when he took his first glance at Bridget, he knew he would have a hard time with the rules.

I really enjoyed this book because it was a really good romance novel with a plot twist. Both characters Rhys and Bridget both have different personalities. Rhys is always grumpy and takes his work seriously. Meanwhile Bridget has a loving personality and loves animals. It’s funny how they’re both different, yet they make a perfect couple. The book in general is really good, but my favorite has to be the middle of the book. They go through something big and break up but as expected they find their way back to each other.

My favorite character in the book is definitely Rhys. Rhys is not the biggest fan of people and has a big attitude towards everyone. He’s always moody but when Bridget comes, he’s a totally different person. He loves her so much and shows his love for Bridget in so many different ways. For example, he made a nickname for her that only he calls her. Her nickname is princess. Almost on every single page you can find him calling her princess instead of her actual name.

My favorite quote from the book is on page 410 when Rhys is about to propose, and he says ” I never believed in love. Never wanted it. I didn’t see the practical value, and to be honest, I was doing just fine without it. But then I met you. Your smile, your strength, your intelligence and compassion. Even your stubbornness and hardheadness. You filled a part of my soul I always thought would be empty, and you healed scars I never knew existed. And I realized… it’s not that I didn’t believe in love before. It’s that I was saving it all for you.” It was a perfect proposal speech for Bridget and it was really sweet.

Woah

I am invisible! I woke up this morning and realized I was invisible. I decided not be scared and take advantage of it. First on my list was helping police officers catch criminals. I’m invisible so it’s quite helpful when it comes to catching them. After I finished helping the police I headed over to barns and noble. I know stealing is bad but I had just helped the police and barns and noble has so many books. Once I got to barns and noble I made sure nobody was watching since seeing flying books would be creepy. Then I got all the books on my wishlist and ran out of there. Last on my list was getting a new dog. I know that I could easy do that any day but my parents say we don’t need another dog even though we only have one. So I headed over to the nearest dog shelter and got a German shepherd, husky, Great Dane, chihuahua, and a labradoodle. I got all the dogs and wanted and went straight home to surprise my parents with our new pets. Since I would be invisible they would only be able to see the dogs and they will have no choice but to keep them. So that’s I would do if I were invisible!

Oops

Imagine being suck on an abandoned island. That’s my life! It all started when my friends and I wanted to run away from home. Life was so boring so we tried going to Hawaii. We took a boat to get there and ended up on an island that looked very lonely. We decided that it needed company and stayed there instead of going to Hawaii. It had lots of palm trees with coconuts and mangos. There was a beach with clear water and crazy waves. Perfect for surfing. Meanwhile we still had the boat with us we didn’t want to go back. And the best part was that we still had all the stuff we brought with us. We had our tents set up in the middle of the island, our portable grill in the back with a big container to wash things, and near our tents we had a volleyball net with many more things to keep us entertained. Everyday day we wake up and brush our teeth with the big container full of water we have. After we make breakfast with the two years worth of food we brought. Then we have fun and play in the ocean or play multiple matches of volleyball. Then towards bedtime we make s’mores and head to bed. And that’s my life living on an abandoned island!

Gymnastics Class

It was my first tumbling class and I was really excited but nervous at the same time. When I first got there I signed in and headed over to the warm up stations. We did a fifth teen minute warm up and introduced ourselves. We had a small group compared to the actual gymnastics gym team but I had really nice teammates. And I had a really nice coach. Coach Amanda looked to be in her mid twenties and was really pretty. We headed over to the tumble track and the trampoline area. We all showed off our best skills and fell a couple times but it was really fun. Most of the girls in my class had already accomplished the tricks that I wanted to learn so it was really helpful asking them for tips. And I surprisingly learned a lot of new skills in an hour so I was excited to go back next week which was just as fun.

Twisted Love by Ana Huang

This month I read Twisted Love by Ana Huang

A twenty-two-year-old college student named Ava Chen is a photographer. Despite her awful past she still sees the good in the world. Alex Volkov is a college student and four years older than Ava also with a rough past. Alex Volkov is a multimillionaire with a genius level IQ and Ava’s brother best friend Josh. Josh Chen graduated college and is going to med school. He asked his best friend Alex Volkov to watch his sister while he was gone. Alex didn’t like the idea but still agreed to look after her. After a couple weeks Alex and Ava soon realize they both have feelings for each other. At first it seems like the best thing in the world but soon later it ruins both of their lives.

I really enjoyed this book because it was a well written romance novel. It had two main characters with different really personalities and it said both of their prospectives. Both Ava and Alex have different personalities, but they have a lot of things in common. They both had very traumatizing childhoods but still find ways to overcome their trauma. The whole book is really good, but my favorite is the middle and the end because there is a really big plot twist that I totally didn’t expect.

My favorite character is Alex Volkov. Alex is always moody and hates everything and everyone so it’s really funny reading about him always complaining. A quote to prove this is on page 16. “Don’t tell me you’re getting sentimental on me. If you brought us friendship bracelets, I’m out.” It’s not the best quote to describe Alex because he has said a lot of worse things but it’s really fun to see him act up and always have an attitude.

My favorite quote from this book is on page 251. “That’s my girl. Hate me. Don’t cry over me. Never cry over me. I’m not worth it.” While a lot of people hated Alex for what he did later on he had a different perspective. He never wanted Ava to cry over him, all he wanted was for her to hate him. That way he wouldn’t be able to mentally hurt her again.

Special Quote

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.” This quote relates to me relate to me in a lot of different ways. Sometimes life is hard but you can always find a way to make it better. Even when you are doing something you enjoy the most it can still be frustrating. You feel like you aren’t doing something right and you end up getting really frustrated but there’s always something or someone who makes it better and fun like it should be. If you don’t like something don’t do it. And if you still have to do because your parents force you or something then find a way to make it fun or someone who makes it fun.

Greatly Admire

Somebody I really admire is my favorite cousin Jackie. I know it sounds a little weird that I admire my cousin but if you knew her you would totally agree with me. Jackie is now twenty and is in university. One of the reasons I admire her is because she graduated high school with honors and had AP classes. She graduated college and is now in a new school for university. I think it’s cool that she graduated with honors and has already been to college. Not a lot of people decide to go to college after high school so that’s one of the reasons I admire her. The second reason is because she always treats the cousins and their family. Jackie said that my family is her favorite so that’s why she’s my favorite. She always takes me out to have fun since my parents never let me go out with my friends. She makes sure that I have a good childhood by taking me to Irvine spectrum, the block, the movies, the market place, and wherever I want to go. Sadly we can’t go every week because she gets busy studying for test and working on project but it’s still fun since we try going every two weeks. The third reason I admire her is because you can tell her anything and she’s good at solving problems. You can tell her anything and she won’t judge you, she’ll just listen and always try to help out. I can tell her anything and it’s actually really fun because I’ll tell her everything that is happening in school and so does she. It’s fun telling her all the drama and she always finds it entertaining. Also when I tell her that my parents won’t let me hang out with my friends she always finds a solution and takes me somewhere or convinces them to let me go. And that’s why I admire my favorite cousin Jackie.

Soccer

This year I’m going to focus on the word soccer. I have been doing gymnastics since I was five so I wanna try something new. Everyone in my family plays soccer and I’m the odd one out. They always say I should play soccer and keep up with the family number. My dad, Mom, and brother have all had the number fourteen when they get their jersey number so it would be kinda cool to get the same number like them. My older sister Daisy and my little sister Sophie got different numbers last time they played so maybe in the spring season I will keep the number fourteen going. I think it would be a fun sport to play, and I can make news friends which would be fun. I have never had anything against soccer I just have never thought about playing until now. It’s great conditioning and who knows maybe I’ll end up playing soccer for the rest of my life but I doubt it.
