Nails-20% Project, Week 3

I wasn’t here on Friday when we worked on our 20% project, so I did it at home. Accomplishments: This week I accomplished getting a smooth base coat with a french tip and a flower. I did a full set at home and did gel-x nails on only my left hand. I did a nude color base with white french tips and added a flower on my middle finger. I did square nails this time since it’s easier doing french tips on square shaped nails. Struggles: some struggles I had was making all the french tips and flowers all the same size. Again, some circles were bigger than others. Luckily, I didn’t have any struggles with the base coat. Adjustments: next time I do a full set I will try going for an easier inspo that way I don’t have to spend a long time struggling with a certain part and back tracking me. Next week I’ll be trying to get a smoot base coat and french tips. Thank you for reading my blog!

Favorite Room

My favorite room in my home is my parent’s room. Normally I would pick my room, but I’ve been spending most of my time in my parent’s room recently and I like to think of it as my room now. It’s my favorite room in the house because it has a king bed and I get it all to myself. I do my homework there and watch movies through the TV and my laptop. My second reason is because no one can bother me while I’m in there. My siblings are always in their room while my mom is in her office since she works from home, and my dad gets home a little later so I get it all to myself. I get peace and quiet for at least three hours. Then my third reason is because it’s useful. My dad has a little stool near his nightstand and it has a secret compartment. I hide all my candy there and it makes a very useful candy stash. It’s very helpful so my siblings don’t steal my stuff and candy since they rarely go into my parent’s room. And that’s why my parent’s room is my favorite out of all the rooms in my home!

Nails-Twenty Percent Project, Week Two

Successes: This week I accomplished doing a flower. I practiced the night before on doing a flower and it was surprisingly easy. I had a nail brush with a metal circle tool on the end. I put one dot in the middle and then six around it. I put three flowers on two almond nails then another three on two square nails. To practice more I used my friend Darlene to practice on and did a white base with one dark blue flower. Struggles: Some struggles I had was making all of the circles the same size. Some circles were bigger than others and it made the flower look weird.
Adjustments: Something I could do to make the circles the same size is getting a nail plate and put nail polish on there. I can dip the metal circle brush into the plate to get the same amount of polish each time to make them the same size. I accomplished doing a french tip and a flower. Next week I want to get a smooth base cost and add and french tip and flower.

Best Sleepover

Everybody knows that when you’re having a sleepover with your cousins it’s the best. There’s so much to do and talk about and doing an all nighter makes it even more fun. My favorite cousins were coming over to sleepover since it was spring break. One of my cousins were on spring break and the other two weren’t but since it was a Friday night it was okay for them to stay over. My mom bought loads of snack for us and we made a whole list of things to do while they were over. We were going to play Roblox, watch a movie, bake, do an all nighter, talk, and stay in call with some of our friends all night. We did most of the things on our list but not all of them. We called our friends and we were playing Roblox together for two hours until we decided to watch a movie. We watched two movies and ate so much candy. My younger sister Sophie was the first one to fall asleep and the rest of us were still wide awake. Then I was on call with my friend Azzy and Kyle while we watched my cousin Camila go crazy and be her weird crazy self. And then we fell asleep at late three so none of us did an all nighter except my cousin Jade who stayed up until eight playing Roblox.

Nails-20% Project, Week One

My 20% project is nails. This week my goal was to do a good french tip. Yesterday I watch some videos so I could know how to do a french tip to help me. Which did help today since I accomplished my goal and did seven french tips on almond and square. Some struggles I had: getting both sides to look like a straight line then do the curve, waiting for the base color to dry, liner brush becoming dry so then I had to get a new one, and the liner brush being too short. Some adjustments I will be doing to get a more clean french tip is getting new longer liner brushes. When the liner brushes are longer it’s easier to get more nail polish which will help me improve. I got some help from my friend Hailey to help me do a french tip without the liner brushes. To help me remember how to do the french tips I will practice everyday day until next week so I can improve and it’s fresh in my memory. Thank you for reading!

Three special people

There are so many people I would want to invite to dinner, but these are my top three: my grandma, my older brother, and my parents. I don’t see my grandma anymore since she passed away when I was little so it would be nice to have one more dinner with her. My second option is my older brother because he also passed away and I never got to even meet him since he died before I was born. And I’m sure it would be a great dinner with my brother with us for the first time. And my last option would be my parents. Every single day I have dinner with my parents and it’s kinda nice. We talk about accomplishments, school, gymnastics, soccer, and it makes a pretty good conversation. So those would be my three people who would I would want to have dinner with.

Twisted hate

This month I read Twisted hate by Ana Huang.

Jules Ambrose is a twenty-four year old who is also beautiful redhead who is taking her law career very seriously. She tries to stay focused on passing the attorney’s bar exam. She does a fine job staying focus until she realizes she is catching feelings for her best friends’ brother, Josh Chen. Josh Chen is a twenty nine doctor who tries focusing on his job but can’t help to notice he’s catching feelings for Jules. They both realize they like each other and set a friends with benefits agreement. They set simple rules but end up having trouble following them.

I liked the book twisted hate because it was a great book with an amazing plot twist. It was an enemies to lovers book and her best friends’ brother. They both have similar personalities and share the same interests. They’re both heart throbs and are both really concentrated on their job. They’re also really funny and have no filter. They say whatever they want whenever they want and it’s fun reading not knowing the next funny thing they’re going to say next.

My favorite character has to be Jules Ambrose. She so pretty and has no filter. It’s funny reading the comments that she makes about everything and always has an opinion. She knows her ego and never forgets it. She’s incredibly smart and an amazing lawyer. She doesn’t let anybody get in her way even when a certain someone makes it difficult. She’s independent and doesn’t like getting help so she solves all her problems on her own. A quote to prove this is on page “I broke his nose.” A guy at the club was bothering her friends and her so she took matters into her own hands and defended them on her own.

My favorite quote is “You’re one of the few people I trust. Never thought I’d say that, considering our history. But even when we couldn’t stand each other, I could always count on you to be honest with me.” That proved that considering their past Josh trusted Jules and went from hating her to loving her.

Real Estate Agent

If I could have any job in the entire world, it would be a real estate agent. At first it might seem like a boring job but if you listen to my reasonings you might change your mind. The first reason would be because I would be able to buy old houses and remodel them. I can make them look really fancy and good as new. I can make the houses look amazing and still charge a decent price. My second reason is because I can buy a house for my parents once they retire and they will live right next door to me. I can remodel the house and make it my parent’s dream house. Also, it will be helpful to have my parents live right next door to me so being a real estate agent can be handy. And lastly my third reason is because I would have a flexible schedule. I can choose my own schedule and once I’m older I will be able to still have freedom.

Twisted games by Ana Huang

This month I read twisted games by Ana Huang.

A twenty-two year old college student named Bridget Von Ascheberg is also the princess of Eldorra. Despite her awful past with her parents dying when she was young she still sees the good in the world. Unlike Rhys Larsen who is thirty-two and an ex-navy seal. Rhys also had a rough childhood with his abusive mom. Bridget’s old bodyguard booth has to take a break from his job so Rhys steps in to be Bridget’s new bodyguard. Rhys only has two rules with his clients, number one: protect his client at all costs. Number two: do not become emotionally involve. Ever. For many years he has never had a problem following his own rules, but when he took his first glance at Bridget, he knew he would have a hard time with the rules.

I really enjoyed this book because it was a really good romance novel with a plot twist. Both characters Rhys and Bridget both have different personalities. Rhys is always grumpy and takes his work seriously. Meanwhile Bridget has a loving personality and loves animals. It’s funny how they’re both different, yet they make a perfect couple. The book in general is really good, but my favorite has to be the middle of the book. They go through something big and break up but as expected they find their way back to each other.

My favorite character in the book is definitely Rhys. Rhys is not the biggest fan of people and has a big attitude towards everyone. He’s always moody but when Bridget comes, he’s a totally different person. He loves her so much and shows his love for Bridget in so many different ways. For example, he made a nickname for her that only he calls her. Her nickname is princess. Almost on every single page you can find him calling her princess instead of her actual name.

My favorite quote from the book is on page 410 when Rhys is about to propose, and he says ” I never believed in love. Never wanted it. I didn’t see the practical value, and to be honest, I was doing just fine without it. But then I met you. Your smile, your strength, your intelligence and compassion. Even your stubbornness and hardheadness. You filled a part of my soul I always thought would be empty, and you healed scars I never knew existed. And I realized… it’s not that I didn’t believe in love before. It’s that I was saving it all for you.” It was a perfect proposal speech for Bridget and it was really sweet.

Woah

I am invisible! I woke up this morning and realized I was invisible. I decided not be scared and take advantage of it. First on my list was helping police officers catch criminals. I’m invisible so it’s quite helpful when it comes to catching them. After I finished helping the police I headed over to barns and noble. I know stealing is bad but I had just helped the police and barns and noble has so many books. Once I got to barns and noble I made sure nobody was watching since seeing flying books would be creepy. Then I got all the books on my wishlist and ran out of there. Last on my list was getting a new dog. I know that I could easy do that any day but my parents say we don’t need another dog even though we only have one. So I headed over to the nearest dog shelter and got a German shepherd, husky, Great Dane, chihuahua, and a labradoodle. I got all the dogs and wanted and went straight home to surprise my parents with our new pets. Since I would be invisible they would only be able to see the dogs and they will have no choice but to keep them. So that’s I would do if I were invisible!
